The Portable Foundry Pyrometer, Model AFP-100 is a handheld unit suitable for measuring the temperature of molten metal in small casting factories and foundries. This Pyrometer belongs to the family of Artech Molten Metal Temperature Measuring Systems which are in use since 1987.

The AFP-100 is a handheld battery operated instrument and is used with an 8 ft. lance which is fixed to the instrument.
